Help us

There are a number of ways that you can help us with:

  • As any wiki based website, your greatest contribution comes from adding content to the page. This is a demanding task for a few individuals, but with a great number of people it can be done much faster and more easily. More important than speed and ease, is the quality that can be achieved if we can work on this together.
  • If you find adding content too tedious, you can equally contribute by expanding the current pages. We are not looking for interpretations of aphorisms, but for connections with other aphorisms by different philosophers and scholars. Please see Mission Statement page.
  • We are looking for programmers to develop the website further. If you are skilled with PHP, please contact us. If you are not very skilled with PHP, but are with other programming languages, please let us know how you think you could improve the website and user experience.
  • Speaking of languages, you can help us by translating the existing pages into a different language. The wider audience we can reach, the more connections could be added.
  • Spread the word to your friends and colleagues (social media is a great tool, but so is the good old colleague down the hall). If you find the information useful, chances are so will others.
  • The reason for you to be on the website is probably to find certain connections. You have undoubtedly looked elsewhere (in the books, some forums, asked friends/colleagues, etc.). If you found useful information, perhaps you could share it here as well.
  • In the long run, we will need some forum moderators.
  • Last, but not least, currently the website is run on a small private budget. We could use a small donation to avoid the use of advertisements. Please donate to improve the speed and quality if you can, although in no way you should feel obliged to do so. For a sponsorship, please contact us.
